Bar Louie Stone Oak to Host Four Days of FUNdraising for Local Firefighters

SAN ANTONIO, April 23, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Bar Louie, a neighborhood bar and eatery located at the Villages at Stone Oak, announced today they will host a four day celebration in honor of their one-year anniversary. The festivities beginning Thursday, May 1 through Sunday, May 4, will feature some amazing food and drink specials with ALL net sales benefiting their local Fire Station 46 in Stone Oak.

"We are going BIG with this event," says Bar Louie General Manager Richard Gerber. "We're not only going to raise a lot of money to benefit our local fire station, but over the course of 4 days we are going to throw a series of events the people of Stone Oak will be talking about for months."

Bar Louie 'Go Big' specials include their famous signature martinis for $2, domestic drafts for $3 and specialty burgers for $5, offered daily from 11 a.m. until close throughout the celebration.

"We're kicking off the party on Thursday with a Firefighter Date Auction from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.," says Gerber. "In addition to our sales donation, all proceeds from the date auction will benefit Fire Station 46."

"The funds will help provide a more visually attractive fire station for public education demos and trainings for students and the community." San Antonio Fire Station 46 serves an area that includes tens of thousands of homes in North Central San Antonio.

Bar Louie continues to give back on Firefighter Friday by inviting customers to enjoy live entertainment, 'Go Big' food and drink specials in effect until 2 a.m. and firefighter appearances from 4 to 7 p.m.

"This celebration is all about paying tribute to the amazing people of San Antonio, especially our Stone Oak residents, who have supported us over the last year," says, Gerber. "This is just a small token of how we'd like to give back to them and to our community."

The celebration will end with a Zumba dance party on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 3 p.m. Firefighters will be present and participating.

Bar Louie Stone Oak is at 22610 US Highway 281 N. in the Villages of Stone Oak Shopping Center, and is open for lunch, dinner and late night dining from 11 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday with the entire menu available until last call.
