Baskin-Robbins Shakes Up National Ice Cream Day with Launch of New Freak Shakes
Continues Celebrating National Ice Cream Month with Special Offers and Delicious New Menu Items
CANTON, Mass., July 11, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Baskin-Robbins is gearing up to celebrate its favorite day of the year – National Ice Cream Day on Sunday, July 15 – with the launch of its new Freak Shakes. Available at participating shops nationwide through July 31, Freak Shakes take Baskin-Robbins' new Sundae Shakes to a whole new level and give guests a new and fun way to celebrate National Ice Cream Month.
Freak Shakes will be available in three hero varieties, including:
- Unicorn Freak Shake: A Cotton Candy milkshake with a scoop of Cotton Candy ice cream topped with Charms Fluffy Stuff Cotton Candy, Airheads® Xtreme Rainbow Berry Sweetly Sour Candy strips, a sugar cone and finished with a cherry, rainbow sprinkles, marshmallow garnish and whipped topping.
- OREO® 'n Cookies Freak Shake*: An OREO® Cookies 'n Cream milkshake topped with a scoop of OREO® Cookies 'n Cream ice cream and garnished with a hot fudge drizzle, whipped topping, a slice of OREO® Cookies 'n Cream Polar Pizza® and finished with a sugar cone, cherry and OREO® cookie pieces.
- Donut Shop Freak Shake*: A Jamoca® Almond Fudge milkshake with a scoop of Jamoca® Almond Fudge ice cream topped with hot fudge, whipped topping, Dunkin' Donuts Powdered and Chocolate MUNCHKINS® donut hole treats, a Dunkin' Donuts Chocolate Frosted with Sprinkles Donut and finished with a sugar cone, cherry and rainbow sprinkles.

These deals can be used to enjoy any of Baskin-Robbins' ice cream flavors. Baskin-Robbins will also be ending National Ice Cream Month on a sweet note with its Celebrate 31 promotion. On Tuesday, July 31st, all regular and kid-sized scoops will be $1.50***.
The Baskin-Robbins Mobile App deals and Celebrate 31 offer can be used to enjoy any of Baskin-Robbins' classic flavors, including the July Flavor of the Month, OREO® 'n Cake, which combines cake-flavored ice cream with OREO® cookie pieces and a chocolate cake batter-flavored swirl, as well as new Blackberry Hibiscus, which is a blackberry hibiscus-flavored ice cream and blackberry hibiscus-flavored sorbet with a blackberry swirl.
To celebrate National Ice Cream Day on July 15th, Baskin-Robbins guests ordering through DoorDash are eligible for a free single scoop on their order of $10 or more, where delivery is available.
