KANSAS CITY, Mo., April 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- BATS Global Markets, a global stock market operator, reports the BATS 1000 Index (Ticker: BATSK) was down 0.4% for the week ending April 8. The S&P 500 Index declined 0.3% for the same period.
The BATS 1000 Index was at 15,158.67 as of 4 p.m. ET Friday compared with a final value of 15,226.00 last Friday.
Many sectors had little change on the week. The Business Services and Industrials and Manufacturing sectors were the biggest movers on the week, both declining 1.5%.
