Bats 1000 Index Down 1.7% on Week All Ten Sectors Decline, Financials Off 2.4%

KANSAS CITY, Mo., Sept. 9, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- BATS Global Markets, a global stock market operator, reports the BATS 1000SM Index (Ticker: BATSK) declined 1.7% for the trading week ending September 9. The S&P 500 Index was also down 1.7% on the week.


The BATS 1000 Index closed the trading week down 227.02 points to close at 13,199.77 as of 4 p.m. ET today. All ten sectors were down on the week and the Financials sector, down 2.4%, led the declines.
