BBK Welcomes Douglas D. Olander to Its Performance Improvement Team
SOUTHFIELD, Mich., April 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- BBK today announced that Douglas D. Olander has joined the firm as a managing director of the company's growing, wholly-owned subsidiary, Performance Improvement (PI), LLC. In his new role, Olander will develop and implement a range of client-focused, operational projects and oversee the project teams involved.
Olander brings more than 25 years of experience in large-scale manufacturing and multi-site management. He oversaw operations including: stamping, metal fabrication, plastic molding, machining and assembly.
In addition, he brings expertise in a range of disciplines that include: lean manufacturing, production system implementation, quality system design and implementation, material flow optimization and supply chain management.

Olander previously served in executive positions at Alma Products and Everett Charles Technologies/Circuitest, Inc. He also held leadership positions with Lear Corp., Benteler Industries and General Motors Corporation.
Olander holds both a doctorate, and a master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Stanford University; and a bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
