Belay Diagnostics Wins Palantir Buildcamp Competition for Second Consecutive Year

Belay's proprietary technology platform powers its award-winning molecular case review prototype and insurance appeals application

CHICAGO, Nov. 4, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Belay Diagnostics, a molecular diagnostics company specializing in cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) liquid biopsy testing for central nervous system (CNS) cancers, announced today that its team won Palantir's Foundry for Builders Buildcamp for the second consecutive year.

During the two-day competition, Belay's four-person team developed an interactive molecular case review prototype designed to bring comprehensive patient medical histories and results from Belay's CSF liquid biopsy tests together on a single interactive timeline. The application is intended to help neuro-oncologists and other specialists collaboratively review complex cases and evaluate clinical and molecular findings.

Held in September at Palantir's New York City office, the invitation-only event challenged participating organizations to develop working solutions to real business problems using Palantir's software. Belay's latest win follows its 2025 Buildcamp victory for an application designed to help automate insurance appeals by comparing payer policies with individual patient medical histories.

Both applications were developed using Belay's proprietary platform built on Palantir Foundry. Beyond Buildcamp, the company uses the platform to integrate data across clinical, laboratory, and business operations, incorporate AI into its processes, and develop custom applications that streamline workflows. This integrated infrastructure supports Belay's CSF liquid biopsy testing, which provides molecular insights to help inform the diagnosis and management of primary and metastatic CNS cancers without the need for tissue.

The win comes on the heels of Belay achieving SOC 2 attestation following an independent examination of its controls. The attestation reflects Belay's investment in protecting sensitive information and building infrastructure to support growth.
