Belk Supports Local Youth with $50,000 Donation to Boys & Girls Clubs of America

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 26, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Belk is underscoring its support of local and national nonprofit organizations with a $50,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The gift, made in partnership with customers through a point-of-sale (POS) campaign held in-stores in August, was presented to members of the Boys & Girls Club at the third annual Keep Pounding High School Classic presented by Belk at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina on Friday, August 22.

Representatives from Belk and Boys & Girls Clubs, along with youth members from Boys & Girls Club of Cabarrus County, came together for the presentation during halftime.

Boys & Girls Clubs of America (BGCA), one of Belk's national charitable partners, provides over 4 million kids nationwide with the access to experiences and opportunities that enable them to succeed in school, gain valuable workforce skills, become active in their communities and manage their health and well-being The donation from Belk allows the organization to provide access to educational opportunities and tools that promote personal growth.

The Keep Pounding High School Classic Presented by Belk featured two high-profile matchups between the Hough Huskies and South Pointe Stallions and the Grimsley Whirlies versus the West Charlotte Lions.
