Belvedere Vodka Returns to the 33rd Annual Santa Barbara International Film Festival

NEW YORK, Jan. 30, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Belvedere Vodka returns as a partner of the Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF) for the 2nd time, from January 31 through February 10, 2018. Guests of the acclaimed festival, now in its 33rd year, will enjoy signature Belvedere Vodka cocktails such as the Belvedere Rosemary Collins and Belvedere Old Fashioned, branded bar activations and more throughout the festival while they celebrate a vast array of films representing 58 countries, 45 world premieres, and 53 U.S. premieres, along with tributes of the year's top talent.

In addition to treating cinephiles to curated cocktails throughout the ten days, Belvedere Vodka will serve as title sponsor of two tribute evenings, Opening Night and Outstanding Performers of the Year.

Opening Night
Belvedere Vodka will kickoff the festivities with the Opening Night Film and Gala on Wednesday, January 31st. Lucky guests at the historic Arlington Theatre will take in the world premiere of The Public, written and directed by Emilio Estevez, starring Estevez, Alec Baldwin, Jena Malone, Christian Slater, Taylor Schilling, Che "Rhymefest" Smith, Gabrielle Union, Jacob Vargas, Michael K. Williams, and Jeffrey Wright. After taking in the star-studded film from The Breakfast Club alum, guests over 21 will head to the center of downtown Santa Barbara to see the beautiful Spanish Paseo Nuevo transform into a film-themed gala filled with food, signature Belvedere Vodka cocktails, dancing, and live entertainment.

Outstanding Performers of the Year
Belvedere Vodka will present Margot Robbie and Allison Janney with the Outstanding Performers of the Year Awards, for their remarkable performances in I, Tonya. Both actresses were nominated for multiple awards for their performances, including Oscar nods. The tribute will be moderated by Scott Feinberg, Awards Columnist for The Hollywood Reporter. Patrons will have an opportunity to enjoy the feature cocktail of the evening, The Belvedere Espresso Martini.
