Bend Research Named Large Distinguished Business of the Year by Bend Chamber of Commerce Membership

BEND, Ore., June 29, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Bend Research Inc. (www.bendresearch.com), a leading independent drug-formulation development and manufacturing company, has been named Large Distinguished Business of the Year by the Bend Chamber of Commerce membership.

The award was announced at the Chamber's annual SAGE Awards banquet in late May.

According to the Bend Chamber, the annual award recognizes the large business among the Bend Chamber membership that has "…a reputation for providing outstanding products and/or services to their customers."

The Chamber noted that Bend Research is a "…cornerstone of Central Oregon's high-tech industry, taking pride in improving human health through innovation as well as contributing to the next generation of scientists."
