PRINCETON, N.J., March 23, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Berlitz Corporation (www.berlitz.us), the world's premier provider of language training and cross-cultural services today announced it will host a cultural insights webinar series with sessions covering topics ranging from the impact of culture on customer satisfaction to effective cross-cultural communication and diversity and inclusion.

The Berlitz webinar series will be comprised of four 60 minute discussions targeted to business professionals who work with colleagues or customers from different cultural backgrounds stateside or globally.  The media are invited to join.  Each webinar in the series will feature examples and tips related to culture to help businesses operate more effectively in today's global marketplace.

The first webinar, "Culture and the Customer Service Experience," is scheduled for March 30, 2011 from 1:00 - to 2:00 pm.  It will explore the interplay of culture and customer service and the cultural realities in providing a positive global customer service experience.  

The discussion, led by Sue Shinomiya, MBA, published author and specialist in international business and intercultural communications and moderated by Diana Anderson, Manager of Intercultural Business Seminars, Berlitz Cultural Consulting will include:

  • Cultural challenges to achieving customer service excellence
  • Possible Solutions including how a Contact Center in Bulgaria provides customer service for US and Canadian callers
