Bertram Capital Exits Tactacam with Sale to GTCR

FOSTER CITY, Calif., Sept. 30, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Bertram Capital ("Bertram") announced today the completion of the sale of its portfolio company Tactacam ("Tactacam" or the "Company") to GTCR. The transaction represents the first exit from Bertram Capital Fund V, the firm's 2023-vintage flagship fund. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Billings, Montana, Tactacam is a pioneer in cellular-connected camera technology for the outdoors. The Company's flagship REVEAL brand is a category-leading line of cellular trail cameras trusted by hunters and land managers nationwide. The Company's Defend brand extends the same cellular platform into property security, delivering live-view monitoring of homes, gates, barns, job sites, and other remote locations without the need for Wi-Fi, wiring, or professional installation.
