Big Blue Marble Academy Names Jomar Jenkins as Chief Executive Officer

Jenkins succeeds Jeff Wahl, who led the organization through a period of significant growth during his six years with the early childhood educator

ATLANTA, June 9, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Big Blue Marble Academy, a leader in early childhood education with 93 schools across nine states, has appointed Jomar Jenkins as Chief Executive Officer, effective June 6, 2025.

Since joining BBMA as President, Jenkins has worked closely with the senior leadership team to strengthen operations, deepen impact and education efficacy, and prepare the organization for its next phase of expansion.

Jenkins succeeds Jeff Wahl, who joined the organization as chairman in 2019 before becoming CEO in 2020. Throughout his six-year tenure, he led the organization through a period of significant development – growing from 23 schools to 93.

Prior to BBMA, he served in executive roles across education and healthcare services. He currently chairs the board of J.P. Industries, a leading nonprofit supporting individuals with disabilities through workforce training.
