Bill Foley Appoints Scott Edwards President of Epic Wines & Spirits

SANTA ROSA, Calif., Nov. 9, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bill Foley, Chairman and CEO of Epic Wines & Spirits, announced today that he has appointed Scott Edwards, current Executive Vice President of Foley Family Wines, as President of Epic Wines and Spirits effective immediately.  Scott has over 30 years of experience with wine, spirits and beer at both the wholesale and supplier levels.  Starting his career as an area sales rep in Virginia, Scott quickly progressed into distributor management with Forman Distributing (now RNDC).  After transitioning to the supplier side with Beringer Wine Estates, Scott has advanced through various distributor management roles with industry leading companies including Foster's Wine Estates and most recently Foley Family Wines.   Scott has successfully managed a variety of channels including national and international sales, retail and on premise national accounts and exports.  Scott will be giving up his day to day position at Foley Family Wines.  Foley added "2015 will be Epic's greatest revenue year in the history of the company.  I have worked closely with Scott for over three years and I am confident that he has the leadership and experience to take Epic to the next level."
