BIOLASE Hosts Pediatric Dental Laser Training With Healthy Smiles For Kids of Orange County for University of Southern California Pediatric Dentistry Clinicians

(NASDAQ: BIOL), the global leader in dental lasers, and Healthy Smiles For Kids of Orange County, a leading nonprofit organization that is improving the oral health of local children, recently held an educational training session to teach University of Southern California (USC) Pediatric Dental faculty and residents who are associated with Healthy Smiles how to use dental lasers for a variety of common pediatric dental procedures. The training event was held on Saturday, August 18 at the BIOLASE global headquarters in the BIOLASE Learning Center in Irvine, California.

The training provided the opportunity for residents and faculty members to learn about the benefits of dental lasers. Attendees were trained in laser physics and safety, laser tissue interactions, restorative dentistry using minimal anesthesia and pediatric procedures including frenectomies for tongue-tie patients. All participants received certification from BIOLASE in dental laser use upon completion of the training session.
