About Leigha Janelle Curry Leigha Janelle Curry is a proud mother, wife, educator, and survivor. Raised in East Houston, she is a testament to the power of hard work and love from her supportive parents. Leigha earned her undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Houston-Downtown and her Master's in Education Administration from Texas Southern University. She is currently a Texas-certified teacher, administrator, and, recently, superintendent with over twenty years of experience in education. She has spent over two decades shaping young minds in the education system and is passionate about using her voice to inspire others.
In addition to her professional accomplishments, Leigha is a loving wife to her husband, Jason Curry, and a devoted mother to their two wonderful children. She credits her family's unwavering faith and love for shaping her into the woman she is today.
