Blinded by DeepSeek; A Million Other AI Models tracked by Liftr Insights

The article points out that the presence of China isn't just with DeepSeek. The data show China's percentage of AI compute instances has been growing to 31.4% despite what others may believe.

The article also points out the incentive of cloud providers to direct enterprises to their services, often charging 20%-30% more for AI-enabled instance types compared to CPU-only instances of similar size.
