Blingby Stays Innovative with Latest Audio Recognition Addition

Blingby, the creator of a new digital platform that allows users to make purchases or book travel and concerts inspired by streaming music videos, film clips and more, has now added an additional app feature - audio recognition.
When a user touches the microphone icon in Blingby tablet and mobile apps, the app listens and analyzes any music within range, returning a screen with products and destinations inspired by the music track. If a track hasn't been tagged (bbTagged) products and experiences inspired by the same artist or video appear.

Audio recognition uses a special sound fingerprinting technology, which samples surrounding audio, creates a unique sound fingerprint and uploads it to servers hosting a catalogue of tracks and songs. When a match is found on the servers, the software sends track info back to the app. This new feature is available on both iOS and Android in Blingby version 2.1.0.
