Bloomberg Law Looks At IP Policy Under The Trump Administration At February 9 San Francisco Event

The event will feature two panel discussions, with the kickoff panel focusing on where IP policy is headed under the Trump administration.  Panelists will discuss issues including whether high tech's influence will wane in the administration and the likelihood Congress will move forward on curbing patent litigation abuses or revising the Copyright Act.  The concluding panel will revisit AIA challenges after four years, with a conversation that will touch on the trend toward fewer patent cancellations at the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) and predictions about the PTABs future, role and functions.
