On December 2, 2016, new rules to modernize the program and bring the Lifeline program into the 21st century went into effect. The Company now offers three no-cost Lifeline plans to its Lifeline customers in most states: 1) 500 voice minutes with unlimited texts, 2) 250 voice minutes, unlimited texts, and 500 MB of data, and 3) unlimited voice minutes and texts with 1 GB of data for tribal residents. In addition, Blue Jay offers a variety of additional plan options and top-ups to give Lifeline customers the flexibility to create customer wireless service plans to meet their individual needs and budgets.
