Bluestar Silicones Adds Custom Compounding to its Offering; Promotes Capabilities at International Elastomers Conference in Cleveland

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J., Oct. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Bluestar Silicones announces it has expanded its elastomer capabilities in York, S.C., adding silicone custom compounding to its offering.  The company will promote heat cured rubber (HCR), as well as its liquid silicone rubber (LSR) for healthcare and long term implant applications and room temperature vulcanized silicones (RTVs), at the International Elastomers Conference in Cleveland, October 13-14, at booth 1652.

Bluestar Silicones new custom compounding operation is supported by Bluestar Silicones high performance bases, a full range of functional and color additives, unique and patented additives and a global technical and manufacturing expertise network.
