Bluestar Silicones Showcases Foam Control Additives At Plastics Recycling Conference In New Orleans

EAST BRUNSWICK, N.J., March 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Bluestar Silicones will showcase its domestically-produced line of SILCOLAPSE^® brand foam control additives at the Plastics Recycling Conference at the Sheraton New Orleans, March 19-20.  Bluestar Silicones' technical experts will be on-hand at booth #800 to demonstrate the foam additives' knock-down capabilities in plastics and recycling wash systems.

The SILCOLAPSE 600 series foam control products are available in a range of dilutions to meet customer-specific anti-foaming needs.  These water soluble additives effectively control foam at concentrations as low as 10 ppm solids, even at elevated temperatures and under pressure. These products also are effective at a wide range of pH levels, particularly alkaline conditions.
