Boardroom Events announces a new brand - MIDMRKT Suite

MARATHON, Fla., Jan. 15, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Boardroom Events LLC, the producers of the Midmarket CIO Forum, announces big changes in 2019, including a new brand, new team members and leadership, and new opportunities inspiring continuous collaboration for technology leaders and partners. Providing more than a decade of best in class events for CIOs in the midmarket, Boardroom Events makes an important decision to change their brand to MIDMRKT Suite, as they expand their services.

Moving to a year-round model of collaboration, MIDMRKT Suite will continue to hold the biannual Midmarket CIO Forum, now referred to as MIDMRKT CIO Forum. The other services which will support their community of 5000+ midmarket CIOs are: an online private platform (MIDMRKT Connect) for networking and idea generation; a series of local events (MIDMRKT Local) for CIOs to learn about new technologies available in the market; and a (MIDMRKT HUB) for solution providers to stay connected to the vetted community.

As MIDMRKT Suite expands their services, the team is also growing and changing. As part of this evolution, Katherine Busey has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer, and Charles Badoian is transitioning to CEO of the organization. Charles Badoian said, "Katherine has been instrumental in building the foundation and laying out a path by which we can accelerate the value and services we provide to our clients. As a team and a market we are fortunate to have her providing leadership and vision."

Also, new team member Liz Ramey comes onboard as the company's first Vice President of Content and Community Engagement. Liz brings 10+ years of experience working with CIOs and will be primarily responsible for the engagement and resources provide on MIDMRKT Connect. Rounding out the team, Retired VP and CIO, Jeff Young, formerly with Haynes International will step in as the CIO in Residence, as well as maintain his role as the Chair of the MIMRKT Forum Advisory Board. In this role, Jeff will provide strategic guidance and leadership as MIDMRKT Suite expands services. He will support and provide insights to the community through advisory, content and presentations.
