Commitment to Quality, Service Earns Van Guard Gold Driver Top Honor

The annual Driver of the Year award recognizes northAmerican agency drivers whose overall performance and outstanding quality scores exemplify dedication and commitment to providing world-class service to northAmerican and Ward North American moving customers. One of twelve 2017 Top Quality Haulers nominated, Brad earned this distinction based on his performance records in numerous areas, including quality, claims and customer opinion survey scores. The 2017 Driver of the Year award was initially presented to Brad in April at the annual northAmerican Van Lines Operations Conference in Fort Wayne, Indiana; he was again recognized at the northAmerican Agent Convention in Phoenix on October 30. This is the second year in a row that a Ward North American driver has won top driver honors from northAmerican Van Lines.

Brad Bachmeier has been a moving industry driver for 24 years – all with Ward North American in San Antonio, TX. Brad credits Ward with teaching him how to be a quality operator and businessman. His focus on quality has helped him achieve Van Guard Gold status for the past four years, and membership in the Ward North American Driver Leadership Council. Brad's favorite part of the job is helping put anxious families at ease and providing them with a stress free moving experience. When not on the road, Brad enjoys riding motorcycles, watersports and spending time with his family, fiancée Kristi and son Corbin.
