McFarland most recently served as Vice President for GumGum's Eastern Sales division where he grew revenue and doubled the sales force in just one year. At Rolling Stone and Men's Journal (digital) he effectively revived revenue for their digital, mobile and tablet efforts. At SAY Media, he generated over half of the global revenue from their eastern sales force.
