Bridgestone Commercial Solutions Opens Drive a Firestone Sweepstakes for CDL Holders

NASHVILLE, Tenn., July 1, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, Bridgestone Commercial Solutions kicks off the Drive a Firestone Sweepstakes where one lucky CDL holder will win the sweepstakes grand prize – a special Firestone Edition Class 8 tractor. The sweepstakes is a part of the Firestone Drives America national promotional tour, designed to celebrate an iconic American brand and introduce new Firestone commercial truck tires to fleets and drivers across the country.

The grand prize truck will be on display during the Firestone Drives America tour, which hits the road July 16, stopping at select Minor League Baseball and NCAA College Football games along the way.

The Drive a Firestone sweepstakes is open to drivers who hold a valid U.S. commercial driver's license (Class 8) and who own or operate a Class 7 or 8 vehicle. Among the prizes:

• Two drawings in September for an all-expense paid trip for two to a 2013 Baseball Fall Classic Championship Series game;
• Two drawings in November for an all-expense paid trip for two to a College Football Bowl Game;
• The sweepstakes will culminate in March 2014 when five finalists, selected at random, will be sent to the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, KY where each will be presented with a key, one of which will start the one-of-a-kind Firestone Edition Class 8 truck. The five lucky finalists will also win an all-expense paid trip for two to the 2014 Indianapolis 500 Mile Race.
• Additional prizes include $500 gift cards and Firestone-branded apparel.
