BrightLife Direct Moves to New Office in Washington, DC
Compression garment distributor changes locations to a larger, more customer-accessible location with 10,000 square feet of space.
WASHINGTON, March 18, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- BrightLife Direct, a medical compression garment and support wear distributor, has relocated its office to another part of Washington, DC. The Takoma Park property is close to the Maryland border and is located at 6925-D Willow Street NW in the northernmost portion of the city.
"We wanted someplace larger to better accommodate our customers and our growing staff," said Kip Bright, president of BrightLife Direct. "We currently have 14 employees, but our new location will allow us to double our staff in the coming years."
The new location is twice the size of the company's former space and includes a retail lobby, as well as two fully staffed fitting rooms for customers. This provides plenty of space for measuring people for the right size compression stockings and helping them to find the best compression sleeves and gloves, diabetic socks and other medical garments to suit their needs. Certified fitters are on hand to help customers choose products from Jobst, Sigvaris, Farrow Medical, Solaris Medical, Mediven and other manufacturers.
The new office space occupies 10,000 square feet on the ground floor of the building, which was originally constructed in 1910. A full renovation designed by local architect Bill London provides an "industrial chic" look. The space was stripped down to its original brick-and-mortar walls and polished concrete flooring. BrightLife Direct moved into the new location in the beginning of February.
