Brutus and Butch Founder Gwen Lonigro gives back to Gender Spectrum and LGBT Organizations

LOS ANGELES, July 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Gwen Lonigro, owner and founder of haircare line Brutus and Butch started her company as a way to give back to the community that always supported her. After 38 years in the hair care industry in various roles from salon owner, mentor, and platform artist, she saw an opportunity to grow and create a hair care line that could give back to the community that supported her.

Gwen states, "It made sense to me that in this industry, if I was going to start a haircare line it needed a reason to exist. It couldn't just be about making money, or greed, or any other motivations people have sometimes.  I wanted to give back to the people I have spent a huge portion of my life with. Not only has the LGBT community contributed so much to the salon industry, they have also been incredibly influential in my life as I have been in theirs."

Gwen always wanted to include the LGBT community in her support. Brutus and Butch haircare line is the vehicle that has allowed her to showcase her support.
