BUG-A-SALT Enters The Final Five Days Of Indiegogo Crowdfunding Campaign
Company explodes past its $15,000 goal and raises nearly a half million dollars.

The company passed its original fundraising goal of $15,000 and has raised $481,482 as of midnight September 5th, with five days left to go in the campaign.
BUG-A-SALT has people donating $30 to $2500 to its campaign in exchange for perks of one or more BUG-A-SALT air guns with the first model expected to ship early next month. The company's campaign video is a viral hit with over 1.3 million views and features inventor Lorenzo Maggiore demonstrating how fun and easy the gun is to use.
So what makes almost 9,000 contributors so passionate for a device that shoots ordinary table salt; is it the gun, the fly or the quirky inventor himself?
