Bulb, a network for knowledge, and Austin-based learning festival iPadpalooza to co-host innovation celebration

AUSTIN, Texas, March 5, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- iPadpalooza, a leading-edge learning festival celebrating the cultural shift that iPads have brought about in education and bulb, a software startup with a vision to dramatically improve the way knowledge is shared, have partnered to host an open house for educators and all those passionate about education at PGi Studios in downtown Austin on March 10 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The event will serve as an opportunity for attendees to meet the people and experience the technology behind two of the most innovative movements in education technology.

The event will include an introduction to iPadpalooza by founder and Eanes ISD technology coordinator Carl Hooker, who partnered with bulb this year for a district-wide pilot. A bulb demo will follow, showcasing how the web app is being used for publishing student portfolios and sharing long-form content on the web, and a behind-the-scenes look at the new features to be released later this year.
