BUMBLE BEE SEAFOODS ANNOUNCES TUNA CANS FILM FEST: A REEL CHANCE FOR FILMMAKERS TO NET $25,000 GRAND PRIZE

"We have an incredible amount of respect for the creators and makers out there and thoroughly enjoy seeing how people use Bumble Bee Tuna in creative ways," said Dana Kowal, Senior Director Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Bumble Bee Seafoods. "Through this campaign our goal is to highlight the new and upcoming talent in filmmaking and give back to educational programs that foster this talent."

Bumble Bee has teamed up with filmmaker and content creator Reece Feldman (@guywithamoviecamera). Feldman, internet-famous "Guy with a Movie Camera," will lead a panel of Bumble Bee judges to select 15 outstanding finalists, based on Technique (25%), Originality (25%), Storytelling (25%) and Overall Impact (25%).

Bumble Bee will also partner with notable influencers Christina Dobre, Alexandra Robinson, Reid Quiggins and Maryam Naraghi to create custom content encouraging storytellers to submit entries.

A Grand Prize Worth Casting For
Submissions are open now, and the grand prize winner will receive $25,000 and the chance to award $5,000 to the film program of their choice (elementary, high school, or college). Runner-up filmmakers will also be recognized and get the chance to be showcased as part of the Tuna CANS Film Festival.

How to Enter:

• Films must be 60 seconds or less
• Film must feature Bumble Bee Tuna product (i.e., a can, pouch, or box)
• All genres and styles are welcome
• No purchase is necessary, and entry is free

Entries are due by October 3, 2025. After an initial round of judging 15 finalists will move on to a final round of judging, where public voting at TunaCansFilmFest.com will determine the grand prize winner.
