Burgess Demonstrates New Web-Based Claims Pricing Software

ALEXANDRIA, Va., June 14, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Health care reimbursement solutions provider Burgess will unveil a web-delivered version of its Medicare-based claims pricing tool, the Burgess Reimbursement System (BRS®), at the America's Health Insurance Plans (AHIP) Institute 2011 conference beginning June 15 in San Francisco.

By leveraging the software as a service model, Burgess will offer pricing software that is simple to set up and maintain, and significantly faster to implement.  

The new platform will allow health plans, providers and medical technology companies to access BRS® features by logging on to a web portal.  Users can begin pricing and auditing claims immediately.

By eliminating the client's internal update process, the web-based system provides a seamless experience for the end-user to ensure that significant Medicare rate and policy changes made throughout the year are delivered in a more timely manner.

Other versions of the software are housed on the user's computer desktop or run via a direct connection to the client's claim system.  Users will have the option to house the new web-based BRS® software on their own servers or on Burgess' secure network.
