Cablevision Launches On Demand Services In Argentina With Avail-TVN's On Demand Group

LONDON and BUENOS AIRES, Argentina, Oct. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- On Demand Group (ODG), a division of Avail-TVN, the leading multiplatform video services provider, today announced that Cablevision, Argentina's leading cable provider, has chosen the company to launch video on demand (VOD) services to its customer base of more than three million cable subscribers. The new service, Cablevision On Demand, launched this week.

Cablevision On Demand will include a full range of both transaction on demand (TVOD) services, including the latest Hollywood movies, and subscription on demand services (SVOD) where for a monthly subscription, consumers will be able to watch hundreds of their favourite TV series, kids' programming, classic movies and the latest music videos, with full control to pause, rewind, fast forward or watch over again – whenever they want.

Cablevision joins Avail-TVN's customer base of more than 300 service providers in more than 25 countries. Avail-TVN works with service providers to help them access and distribute new release and library titles from major Hollywood studios in multiple formats including 3D, HD and across multiple devices.
