NEW YORK, May 18, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- CAK Entertainment, Inc., a leading brand development and advisory firm, is pleased to announce that it has signed Monet's Palate, Inc., as its newest client.

CAK Entertainment will create and manage brand development opportunities for Aileen Bordman, Monet's Palate creator and president, as she branches into the home, garden, lifestyle, entertainment and culinary markets.

"The power of Monet's brand is undeniable. There is a huge untapped opportunity to expand the brand into the food, home and lifestyle space," CAK Entertainment's Chairman and CEO Charles Koppelman said.

Bordman said she hopes to bring the world of Monet – with its rich colors, scents and light – to people in ways that are accessible.

"Clearly, the iconic Monet and I could not be in better hands then at CAK Entertainment with the myriad talents Charles Koppelman, Stephanie Roberts and their amazing team possess," Bordman said.

Bordman came to know Monet through extensive research into the famed French impressionist and by spending considerable time at the Musée Claude Monet at Giverny where her mother, Helen Rappel Bordman, helped restore his gardens in the Normandy region of France, and has served as American representative in residence since 1980.

On May 1, "Monet's Palate Cookbook: The Artist & His Kitchen Garden at Giverny," hit bookstores. After bringing the artist's 2.5-acre kitchen garden back to life, Bordman set out to produce detailed descriptions of the fresh fruits, vegetables and herbs Monet cultivated in his garden. The book also includes 60 new recipes, along with images of the interior of Monet's house and works of art.

In addition, American Public Television will distribute a re-edited version of Bordman's critically acclaimed documentary film, "Monet's Palate – A Gastronomic View from the Gardens of Giverny," to 350 public television stations across the U.S. – part of a special pledge drive package later this summer. Introduced by Academy award-winning actress Meryl Streep and featuring famous chefs Daniel Boulud, Alice Waters and Michel Richard, the film takes viewers on a culinary tour of Monet's home and gardens, drawing the connection between the iconic painter's artistry and his passion for gardening and gourmet fare.

Koppelman served six years as chairman principal executive officer for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia. He achieved his business acumen largely in the music profession, where he became known as one of the industry's most insightful and successful leaders. Koppelman's New York-based CAK Entertainment handles marketing, brand development and advisory work for artists and companies, including Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Adam Levine, Nicki Minaj and daytime talk show host Wendy Williams.

Stephanie Roberts, managing director of CAK Entertainment, recently spearheaded the launch of a new fashion collection for Wendy Williams on the Home Shopping Network.
