California Health Benefit Exchange Retains Ogilvy Public Relations as Agency of Record for Covered California

SACRAMENTO, Calif., June 17, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ogilvy Public Relations, an integrated global communications firm, today announced it was awarded a three to five year, multi-million dollar contract to continue its work for Covered California, the state's health benefit exchange. Covered California was established pursuant to the federal Affordable Care Act and has enrolled 1.8 million Californians since its inception.
Ogilvy PR will continue its award-winning statewide education and outreach campaigns. The engagement will focus on enrolling and retaining members in Covered California, particularly in the state's diverse communities. Key program components include influencer communications, content creation and social media.

The account will be based in the firm's Sacramento office, with support from other offices across the U.S., including Los Angeles and San Francisco. The Sacramento office is part of Ogilvy PR West, which is comprised of four full-service offices in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Denver and Sacramento.
