CANCOM Accelerates Client Innovation through the Cloud with IBM PureSystems

MUNICH and STUTTGART-EHNINGEN, Germany, Oct. 25, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- IBM (NYSE: IBM) today announced that TecDAX listed company CANCOM SE will use PureSystems to provide its CANCOM AHP Private Cloud Desktop solution.

The CANCOM AHP Private Cloud will provide remote access to corporate applications and data using any device that is connected to the internet, providing a mobile and flexible IT workplace for their clients. The high degree of standardization and automation that the CANCOM AHP Private Cloud provides helps clients to maximize their resources and lower their operational costs.

Networking is provided by an integrated IBM Flex System Fabric Switch connected to an IBM RackSwitch solution.

The flexibility provided by PureSystems means that CANCOM's data center can better respond to changes in demand and provide dynamic application and virtual desktop environments even when deploying services to remote offices.
