DETROIT, Oct. 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Candice Simons, founder of Brooklyn Outdoor, a Detroit-based independent outdoor advertising agency, is being honored as a Diversity Business Leader by Corp! Magazine at the 11th Annual Salute to Diversity Awards Celebration.

Simons founded Brooklyn Outdoor in 2013 with a mission to keep advertising dollars and employment in Michigan. Since 2013, she has built a powerhouse team of majority females. The company services world-renowned brands in cities across the U.S., including New York, Chicago, and Los Angeles, and is the only major outdoor advertising firm headquartered in Detroit.
