Carbyne Makes History, Announces Early Adopters of Next-Gen 911 Plugin: Fayette County, GA and Ocean County, NJ

Carbyne, a global leader in public safety, is officially live in the U.S. with its new product, c-Lite, providing live video calls and pinpoint location capabilities to 911 centers across the country. c-Lite, a Next-Generation 911 plugin for legacy 911 call handling systems, has been adopted by Fayette County, GA and Ocean County, NJ.

c-Lite works in conjunction with an agency's legacy call handling software to provide NG911 capabilities without the necessity of integration with existing systems.

Launched this summer, five counties will be implementing c-Lite into their legacy emergency response systems within the next 30 days, including Fayette and Ocean Counties.

With c-Lite, Public Safety Answering Points (PSAPs) will benefit from:

- Precise location services, pinpointing callers within 20 feet for ALL calls, even indoors

- Real-time video streaming

- Live chat with callers in situations where verbal communication may be untenable
