CardLogix Corp Achieves ISO 9001:2015 Certification for High Quality Smart Card Manufacturing
IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 18, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- CardLogix Corporation, leading smart card manufacturer and software developer, proudly announced today its successful migration to the ISO 9001:2015 Standard, the latest international standard for Quality Management Systems (QMS).
As one of the first smart card manufacturers to achieve this new standard, the award is a fitting testament to the company's unwavering commitment to quality, best practices, and customer service.
The ISO:9001 Standard, certified by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), is based on proven quality management principles. To earn the new ISO 9001:2015 certification, CardLogix first underwent an internal multi-department audit. They explored performance metrics and examined all functional procedures to ensure that they were performing optimally and as intended. This was followed by a rigorous two-stage audit with a certified independent party. The auditor examined every department's processes, controls, and systems to verify proper execution.
