CareReview® Names Adam Schilling Chief Growth Officer as Company Expands Healthcare Market Presence
Experienced healthcare executive to lead growth strategy as CareReview expands its clinical review solutions across Health Plans, PBMs, TPAs and Self-Funded Organizations
ARLINGTON, Texas, Sept. 1, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- CareReview, a nationally recognized provider of independent clinical review solutions, today announced the appointment of Adam Schilling as Chief Growth Officer, joining the company's executive leadership team as CareReview accelerates its expansion across the broader healthcare market.
CareReview has built its reputation on independent, evidence-based clinical review in workers' compensation and disability, performing reviews in all 50 states, and is now bringing that expertise to group health, commercial and government health plans, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), third-party administrators (TPAs) and self-funded organizations.
In his new role, Schilling will lead CareReview's growth strategy, market expansion and strategic partnerships, working with the executive team to bring Clinical Solutions Optimizing Care™ — the company's clinical expertise, technology and service model — to a broader range of healthcare organizations.
"Adam brings exactly the combination of industry knowledge, relationships and growth leadership critical to CareReview's next chapter," said Ross Crutchfield, Founder and CEO of CareReview. "He understands the challenges facing health plans, PBMs and healthcare organizations from years working alongside them, and he shares our belief that sustainable growth comes from being an exceptional partner. We're excited to have him leading this next phase of growth."
Schilling brings more than 20 years of healthcare commercial leadership across independent review, utilization management and complex clinical review, working with many of the nation's leading health plans, PBMs and healthcare organizations. He has held commercial leadership roles at ExamWorks, Medical Review Institute of America (MRIoA) and Advanced Medical Reviews (AMR).
"CareReview is founder-led, with an experienced team and disciplined operations behind the work," said Schilling. "I have spent my entire career learning what these organizations need and why they need it, and here we have the room to build around that. What clients are ultimately buying is the quality of the clinical determination, and that is where the standard has to hold no matter how fast we move."
CareReview's clinical review solutions span group health and pharmacy — including utilization management, independent review and appeals, nurse review, payment integrity and peer review — as well as workers' compensation and disability, including independent medical examinations, life and disability, and specialty bill review. Supporting these services are a nationwide network of licensed clinical specialists and Stradix®, CareReview's proprietary technology platform. CareReview holds URAC Independent Review Organization accreditation and HITRUST r2 Certification, with URAC reaccreditation and NCQA accreditation underway.
