Caribou Coffee Addresses Animal Well-Being in Food Offering With Cage-Free Eggs

MINNEAPOLIS, July 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Caribou Coffee, a brand committed to offering its fans premium food and beverage experiences, is excited to announce that it has taken a step toward addressing animal well-being in its food offering. The coffeehouse retailer recently began serving its most popular signature breakfast sandwich with cage-free eggs. Caribou's Chicken Apple Sausage breakfast sandwich, which represents 20 percent of the company's breakfast sales, is now being served with 100 percent cage-free eggs.
