Words that bleed with emotion but serve as Band-Aids for the temporary holes in her heart, Carina Pellius' first compilation of poems establishes hers as a fresh, powerful new voice in the literary sphere. A black author, Pellius, has been writing since the age of 11 and, encouraged by the growing recognition and publication of poetry, is joyful to become part of the emerging literary movement of black, Asian, and minority ethnic (BAME) writers.

Twenty-six-year-old Carina Pellius was born and raised in London and hopes to establish herself as a prolific author. .
