Voluntary, nonpartisan pathway expands opportunities for women to engage in federal Alzheimer's and dementia advocacy

NEW YORK, Sept. 3, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- CaringKind today announced a collaboration with UsAgainstAlzheimer's to offer participants in 100 Women of Impact voluntary, nonpartisan opportunities to engage in federal advocacy on Alzheimer's disease and related dementias.

Founded and led by CaringKind, 100 Women of Impact is a national movement of women leading the future of brain health and well-being. This collaboration is one voluntary advocacy pathway within the broader CaringKind-led movement, which advances Leadership, Care, Policy, and Progress.

Participants in 100 Women of Impact who choose to opt in directly with UsAgainstAlzheimer's will receive advocacy updates, educational resources, and opportunities to engage with federal policymakers on issues affecting people living with Alzheimer's disease and related dementias, care partners, families, clinicians, researchers, and communities nationwide.

The advocacy opportunities will focus on priorities including federal investment in Alzheimer's and dementia research; earlier and more equitable diagnosis; access to quality, affordable care and treatment; stronger support for care partners; and policies grounded in the real-world experiences of people and families affected by dementia.

Women are disproportionately affected by Alzheimer's disease, accounting for nearly two-thirds of Americans living with the disease and most dementia care partners. By connecting UsAgainstAlzheimer's advocacy expertise with CaringKind's 100 Women of Impact movement, the collaboration can help elevate women's perspectives as patients, care partners, professionals, and community leaders in federal policy discussions.
