Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council Announces Priscilla Wallace as New VP of Corporate & MBE Development
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Carolinas Minority Supplier Development Council announced that Priscilla Wallace will serve as the organization's new Vice President of Corporate and MBE (Minority Business Enterprise) Development, effective Oct. 1, 2012. Previously, Wallace served as the National Supplier Diversity Manager for the American Red Cross, a member of the National Minority Supplier Development Council, and one of the largest nonprofit institutions in the world.
Wallace brings both corporate and nonprofit Procurement and Supplier Diversity experience to the position at CMSDC. During her 12-year tenure with American Red Cross, she built a highly recognized Supplier Diversity Program from inception and also mentored and developed MBEs for greater inclusion in sourcing activities throughout the organization. Wallace holds a Bachelor of Arts from Delta State University and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt for quality and business solutions. She also was recognized as a Top 2012 Supplier Diversity Executive by Professional Woman's Magazine.
