Cartica Management, LLC appoints Charlotte Taylor Director of Investor Relations

WASHINGTON, Oct. 16, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Cartica Management, LLC ("Cartica"), the emerging markets-focused asset manager, today announced that Charlotte Taylor has been appointed Director of Investor Relations.

Ms. Taylor joins Cartica from Pacific Investment Management Company ("PIMCO"), where she served as Vice President of Account Management, and was responsible for managing and growing relationships with clients, and contributing to the firm's macro outlook and strategy. She advised clients on asset allocation, suitable investment strategies, structures and guidelines, and helped raise funds for several of PIMCO's alternatives products. Before her most recent position at PIMCO, Ms. Taylor served as an Emerging Markets Product Specialist, where she developed and oversaw the firm's emerging markets investment products, and assisted in a wide range of business development initiatives.

Prior to joining PIMCO, Ms. Taylor worked at the U.S. Department of Treasury as Special Assistant to the China policy team and Secretary Timothy Geithner. During her tenure, she conducted analyses of Chinese economic data and growth trends, assisted with negotiations with China's Ministry of Finance, and worked closely with senior U.S. government officials.
