CAS to Become Part of Particle Measuring Systems

WATTWIL, Switzerland, Feb. 22, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Spectris plc, a well-respected and long-established supplier of productivity-enhancing instrumentation and controls, has confirmed today that it has acquired CAS Clean Air Service AG (CAS), a leading full-service supplier of clean room measurement systems which has a strong customer base within Switzerland and the DACH region. CAS is based out of its headquarters in Wattwil, Switzerland, and also has five other sites in Stein, Switzerland, Vienna and Innsbruck, Austria and two in Germany. CAS will be fully integrated into Particle Measuring Systems (a Spectris Company), a global technology leader in the environmental monitoring industry and the largest particle counter manufacturer in the world, and the CAS name will become a product brand within PMS.
