CellMining Announces Availability of New Subscriber Analytics Capabilities within Behavior-Based SON™ Solution
New capabilities to equip operators with KPIs that harness subscriber experience data to enhance network performance
CAESAREA, Israel, February 11, 2015 /PRNewswire/ --
CellMining Ltd., a pioneer in the field of Self-Optimized Networks (SON), today announces the addition of unique capabilities to its flagship solution, Behavior-Based SON™, which are available as part of SONATA Suite V3.0. CellMining's unique SON technology, which is agnostic to network vendors and generations, analyzes usage patterns to maximize network performance, reduce network operational costs and deliver an overall improved experience for subscribers.
The new capabilities include detection of Low Quality Calls, a new dimension for network optimization providing significant KPIs for operators for calls that go unnoticed by traditional network monitoring and optimization solutions. CellMining's Low Quality Call Rate capability enhances Dropped Call Rate (DCR) KPIs, enabling operators to harness key data related to subscriber experience in order to flag poor quality calls.
The Subscriber Dashboard is also an integral capability of the Behavior-Based SON™ which allows carriers to identify specific subscriber issues, on both group and individual VIP levels, and handle them in a timely manner to enhance customer experience.
Recent evaluations have demonstrated 30% increased network accessibility for voice and data subscribers for affected sectors and a 10%-15% increase in subscriber satisfaction rates from the quality of communication, directly attributed to voice quality and data session persistency.
"Mobile networks are undergoing technology transformation in an effort to offer voice and data services with the best quality of experience. Radio network planning groups are increasingly pressured by adjacent organizations such as customer care and marketing groups to help them leverage network infrastructure for competitive differentiation," said Sathya Atreyam, Research Manager at IDC. "Furthermore, a self-organized network infrastructure is critical to serving in meeting the demands of an ever-changing consumer behavior on a near real-time basis."
"In recent years, we've witnessed a growing demand among wireless operators searching for solutions that focus on subscriber behavior and experience within their networks," said Greg (Giora) Snipper, CellMining Co-Founder and CEO. "CellMining's Behavior-Based SON™ has already gained significant interest from Tier 1 and Tier 2 operators across the globe who are looking to adopt such solutions." "We look forward to introducing the new capabilities of SONATA V3.0 at the forthcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona."
CellMining will demonstrate all of its new Behavior-Based SON™ capabilities at Booth 5F81 in Hall 5 at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, between 2 and 5 March 2015.
