Census Bureau News: Media Advisory -- Census Bureau Webinar to Discuss Milestone: American FactFinder Consolidating Key Files on One Location

What:       

Over the past year, the Census Bureau has expanded the new American FactFinder so that it now serves as the one-stop search engine for key Census Bureau statistics and information. Nearly all of the files from the older version have been uploaded to the new American FactFinder website, including estimates and statistics from the American Community Survey the economic census and other business surveys.

This audio news conference will discuss the transfer of files to the new American FactFinder and provide guidance on building deep links, searching and bookmarking in the new site, as well as accessing the information that had been on the legacy FactFinder through an archived FTP site.

The news conference will consist of a simultaneous audio conference and online presentation. Information on accessing the online presentation is provided below. Reporters will be able to ask questions once the presentation is complete. We suggest reporters log in and call in early.
