WASHINGTON, Nov. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Census Bureau has updated the application programming interface with the 2010-2012 American Community Survey statistics. The API, which allows developers to create custom apps with Census Bureau data, now contains data profiles for areas with populations over 20,000. More than 40 topics are available for these communities, such as housing, educational attainment, employment, commuting, language spoken at home, nativity and ancestry. The API also includes other previously released data products such as the one-year American Community Survey data released in September for communities with populations of 65,000 or more.
