Centerplate Has Much in Store for the San Diego Crew Classic

SAN DIEGO, March 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Centerplate, the leading hospitality partner to North America's premier sports, convention and entertainment venues, announces it has been selected to provide all retail merchandise services for the San Diego Crew Classic, the 2nd largest regatta in the United States held for eight-oared rowing shells. Centerplate will partner with Gravitate Sports Marketing, the sports marketing firm with overall promotional responsibility for the event's operations.

Centerplate's retail merchandise sales platform will center upon a temporary store featuring signature apparel and souvenirs specifically designed and manufactured to celebrate the Crew Classic. Spectators will have the opportunity to visit the Official Crew Store and other satellite sales locations on race days, Friday, April 1 through Sunday, April 3.
