CenturyLink board member Laurie Siegel named to NACD Directorship 100

The annual NACD list recognizes the leading corporate directors, corporate governance experts, policymakers, and influencers who significantly impact boardroom practices and performance. For four decades, NACD has recognized individual directors who serve as role models in promoting exemplary board leadership, oversight, and courage in the boardroom.

"Since joining our board in 2009, Laurie has made invaluable contributions as we have benefited from her broad experience and areas of expertise. Siegel has served as a business and human resources consultant since 2012 after retiring from Tyco International Ltd., where she served as senior vice president of human resources and internal communications. She also has held executive positions with Honeywell International Inc. and Avon Products and was a principal of Strategic Compensation Associates.

An independent selection committee reviews each nominee's history of advancing board performance and leading corporate governance practices in accordance with established NACD principles. The principles are a framework that encourages excellence in areas critical to boardroom leadership, including, but not limited to, risk oversight, corporate strategy, compensation, and transparency.

The 2017 honorees will be recognized during the NACD Directorship 100 gala, which will be held in November in New York City.
